First came Bubba.
Then Gump, his brother.
They swim as a pair.

Riley and Lacie
are both a bit spacey,
but they're part of our pack.

Riley's a moose
and Lacie cries truce
at the slightest attack.

Then there's Miss Kitty
our feline who's pretty.
She rules the third floor.

Five pets in the house
Two dogs, fish, cat, no mouse
Count the fish only once, that's four.

Add to this mini zoo
little Pedro, he's new.
He's cute and orange with no tail.

Barely six weeks old,
he's really quite bold
for a kitten who's tiny and male.

Now wherever we step,
there's a scampering pet
not to mention the messes they make.

But they all get along
and with that, nothing wrong.
Their happiness they cannot fake.
